Website that includes information about the Cherokee Immersion School, classes, and programs UPDATE (Aug 2026): Cherokee Nation is in the process of ending this school's state charter (effective ~July 2026) and moving to oversight exclusively under tribal law, replacing the state charter board with a tribally-created Immersion Education Advisory Board. Worth a direct conversation with Cherokee Nation about why they made this shift, and what it implies for a state-chartered vs. tribally-governed model.
