One of two Oklahoma tribal-sponsorship pathways. This one requires the tribe to have operated a high school under Bureau of Indian Affairs authority as of November 1, 2010, restricts the school to native language immersion instruction, and requires the site be within the tribe's former reservation or treaty-area boundaries. See also the broader tribal trust-land pathway (Title 70 §3-132(A)(5)), which has no 2010 BIA-high-school requirement. Confirm which pathway the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes actually qualify under before relying on either; current as of August 2026.
